Our very own Emily Webber visited this Virtuoso property over the weekend with her husband and friends who double as clients. Even though this is Emily’s fifth winter visiting Blackberry Farm, her enthusiasm about the property has yet to wear off; making an NLT Hotel of the Week Feature on the farm absolutely necessary!
“Have you ever experienced a place where your heart and soul feel at peace? There is no other place on earth where my husband and I can go and connect with each other and disconnect from the business of life,” explains Emily. “This past weekend, we sat by the fire and read for hours in our cottage, which we never do. We enjoyed drinks with friends around the Yallerhammer fire, met new friends and all shared stories.”
The 4,200-acre Blackberry Farm is full of beauty that can be acknowledged year round. You can explore the property on horseback, via old-fashioned carriage, by canoe and mountain bike, or on intimate walking trails. There are also quieter pastimes: a massage at The Wellhouse, reading in a hammock or fly-fishing in Hesse Creek, one of the best spots in Tennessee.
“My husband enjoyed sporting clays for an afternoon while I enjoyed the spa at Blackberry. The relaxation room is an experience you won’t want to miss!” tells Emily.
“Blackberry Farm is an amazing getaway for a couples retreat, girls weekend, or family vacation. My husband and I loved our experience from the moment we arrived on property. The staff is very gracious and helpful. The cabin we stayed in was comfortable, relaxing, and private. The meals were delicious and the wine was amazing. Our fly fishing experience was educational and fun. The spa was peaceful and our couples massage was the perfect ending to our day. The hiking trails were beautiful and exploring the property was such an adventure. I can’t wait to go back to Blackberry Farm!”
