The Four Seasons sits at the tip of the Punta Mita peninsula in a large gated community, consisting of private villas, golf courses, the Four Seasons and the St Regis.  Auberge will be opening the 3rd luxury resort in Punta Mita in 2020.

Flanked by Bahia and Las Cuevas beaches, the Four Seasons is situated in the most enviable location on the peninsula. The luxurious infinity pool overlooks the ocean and offers a glorious view of the legendary pacific sunsets, which you can enjoy while being served by the amphibious waiter who will swim your champagne out to you or mix your margarita right there from a floating bar.

The resort offers a wide array of activities for folks of all ages. Golfers can play 2 Jack Nicklaus signature courses offering 12 ocean side holes, The challenging Bahia has a links like feel with deep bunkers and undulating greens and the Pacifico, which is more traditional with rolling, gentle greens that include the “Whale’s Tale”, the world’s only natural island green. 

Tennis players can hone their skills with daily lessons and clinics offered by the PBI pros at the 10 court facility with a full pro shop and locker room.

Fitness fans beginner to advanced can choose from an innovative array of classes including Aqua Forza – think boot camp on a float, Anti Gravity classes which allow you to perform a variety of inversion positions while suspended from the ceiling.  There is morning yoga on a natural jetty perched out over the ocean or in the pool to truly challenge your balance and focus, More traditionally there are HIIT classes, spinning, aqua aerobics or personal training offered in the well appointed fitness center.




The fun doesn’t stop there. 

Families can bike ride on the peninsula, play beach volleyball, go snorkeling or fishing right from the beach or charter a yacht and head out to the deep to try for marlin, tuna or dorado.  If you are lucky enough to land one, the chef will prepare it for your dinner.

Don’t miss the Lazy River- It’s a shady oasis to escape from the sun with the kids.  It is also another fun place for happy hour as they have a fully staffed bar.  The kids usually get out before the parents.

There are guided hikes and nature walks in the mornings and surfing lessons are offered a short walk down the beach.

Immerse yourself in the local culture by taking a Spanish class or learning to salsa. You can practice your steps each night in the Cora Lounge to the live band.  Try tequila tasting with the Four Seasons tequila master.  You can also learn to mix your own personal blend to take home with you.  (Your blend will be registered, so you can order more.)

Each evening offers the opportunity to learn from a marine biologist about the Olive Ridley sea turtles that nest in Banderas Bay and to release hatchlings from the beach at sunset. December through March, you can experience the humpback whale migration.
